About Pacific Home Renewals
Contractor-owned. Hands-on experience. Log home restoration, carpentry, and remodeling work done with care.
Our Story
Built From Hands-On Experience
Eli's path into the trades started in Montana, where he moved at 18 to apprentice under an established log home care company. He learned the craft hands-on — restoring, maintaining, and protecting log homes in the kind of harsh weather conditions that quickly show whether the work was done right.
After completing his apprenticeship, Eli moved to Kalispell, Montana, where he worked as a carpenter while building his own log home restoration business. That experience gave him a strong foundation in careful preparation, clean workmanship, and the practical problem-solving that quality construction requires.
As the business was gaining momentum, Eli and his wife found out they were expecting their first child. They chose to move back to Oregon to be closer to family and build their future here.
Since returning to Oregon, Eli has continued growing his log home restoration business while also working as a licensed general contractor performing remodels, repairs, and residential improvement projects. Today, with six years of hands-on experience, he serves Oregon homeowners through Pacific Home Renewals, bringing specialized log home knowledge, broad carpentry experience, and a personal commitment to every project.

Family-Owned, Oregon-Based
Pacific Home Renewals is family-owned and operated. After starting his career in Montana and building experience in log home care, carpentry, and remodeling, Eli returned to Oregon with his wife and son to be closer to family and build a business rooted here.
What Sets Us Apart
There are plenty of people willing to throw stain on your logs. Here's why we do things differently.
Specialized Experience
Log homes require knowledge and technique that most general contractors and painters simply don't have. It's a craft we've focused on for years, and that hands-on experience shows in the quality of our results.
Proper Prep Before Coatings
The number-one reason stain fails is poor surface prep. We strip, clean, brighten, and dry before any stain goes on. No shortcuts.
Coating Compatibility
Not all stains play well together. We identify what's on your logs before recommending what goes over it. The wrong combination means early failure.
Climate-Appropriate Products
A stain system that works on the Oregon coast won't perform the same in Klamath Falls or Bend. We select products based on your specific exposure and elevation.
Honest Assessments
We'll tell you what your home actually needs — not what generates the biggest invoice. Sometimes a maintenance coat is all it takes. We'll say so.
Owner-Operated
When you hire us, you're working directly with the people doing the work. No layers of project managers or subcontractors between you and the crew on your logs.
Our Service Area
We serve log homeowners across Oregon. Our work takes us from the coast to the high desert, from valley floors to mountain properties above 5,000 feet. Each region has its own climate challenges, and we adjust our products and approach accordingly.
Whether you're in the Rogue Valley, Central Oregon, the Southern Coast, or anywhere in between — we can help.
